CB GRAN CANARIA BASKETBALL CAMP

Welcome the upcoming year 2026 at the Gran Canaria island with premium youth basketball program. Premium training methods, practices twice a day, shared practice with Canterbury Academy in Las Palmas. We will attend the Spanish ACB league match, Dreamland Gran Canaria vs. UCAM Murcia. We plan to play against local teams, in case of a lower number of camp players we will mix up and play a scrimmage with Canterbury players. Also, we will experience Las Palmas „underground pick-up game“ with the locals, as it is very traditional at CB camps in Gran Canaria. However, the main feature of the camp is skill development. It is going to be the program packed with a lot of basketball.

This is also an ideal opportunity to experience the vacation at the end of the year together with your family. Parents and other family members are also welcomed to join us.

BASKETBALL CAMPS

CB BASKETBALL CAMPS, cams always offer premium training programme, showing players the perspective of professional basketball. Practices develop all performance parameters related directly or at second hand to the game. Motor abilities, technical skills, high-quality recovery along with corrective exercises, inspiration and new horizons. All of it is a part of intensive programme we are go through. Camps are build  the way it develop step by step professional identity in young players. Till today, players from many countries have participated already, Portugal, Belgium, USA, Germany, Slovakia, Austria, Emirates, Ukraine, South Korea, Czech republic.  So far, over the three years, more than twenty camps have taken place.

Experience says the most successful youth basketball clubs work with the most effective training methods in their sports programs. Coaches are able to stimulate all parameters of sport performance in such a way that player’s abilities are developed to its full potential. At the same time negative affects of training are usually kept to its minimum. In this processes sport talent plays secondary role. Experience also shows that it is always very important to catch the players‘ attention by very attractive training content, through which new technical skills are gained. The same importance posses the development of  general motor-abilities. Programs of my camps show players the ways how to set strong fundamentals for their future professional journey.

We are going to see attractive games of u18/u16 first-rate teams at Islas Canarias. Campers always find new inspiration seeing these games at first hand. Games being played at much higher tempo, technical skills and motor abilities also being presented on much higher level. Learning goes more easy in  Spain. Players uncover new resources of training motivation when they see players of a „different kind“, or when they have even a chance to test them on the court. One can see an instant change in their approach immediately.

ACB LIGA is the best national league in Europe. At the arena, campers experience the power of spanish basketball. It is very visible everywhere, it starts at the gates in front of the arena,  where lots of fans are assembled long time before the game starts.  The experience is always overwhelming to somebody who has love and passion for basketball.

CAMP FOR ALL AGES

Program delivers impulses to both late and early teen age players to induce grow in performance. It is made in such a way, growth is made at all levels. It includes motor abilities, specific skills, general understanding and psychology of the game, recovery processes, and also getting inspired by observing the local pros and next pros generation during as they practice or perform. Observation itself is one of the strongest motivational factors.
