Future success or failure is determined by the training standards with which a group and it’s individuals is able to fulfill each and every training task. When it comes to scoring, the ability to handle the ball and to keep it under control, is the most fundamental requirement placed on any player. If a player is not able to meet this basic criterium, there is not much space left to experience joy coming out of playing. Right next to ballhadling stands the ability to coordinate body movements. One must be able to rule own body, and body parts. Basketball practices at CBBC PRAHA ATHLETICS are constructed in such a way, that all players make progress permanently. In a long run, they are being prepared to be able to compete on best possible professional competition level.

Process of developing human body energy resources is an alchemy at it’s purest form. With the right load/rest ratio one can continually be getting better in terms of amount of energy available. We talk about training methods that are not commonly used in basketball programs. Experience say we got to involve training methods from other sports, like track & field, olympic weightlifting, powerlifting or yoga. Body can responds only to impulses witch it is exposed to. Those impulses must have high correlation to the game of basketball.

Strength has very unique position because it can support and develop a bit all other motor abilities. We protect the organism and prevent it from injuries. Strength training, when done properly speeds up a player, makes him more balanced and coordinated, one also can endure longer in „a hostile game environment“. Usually strength training is neglected in most basketball clubs, it simply doesn’t get deserved attention. Proper strength training care is essential part of our basketball program.

REST AND BATTERY RECHARGING IS TIME WHEN ADAPTATION HAPPENS
There is no progress without having time for a proper rest. There are few key principles for good recovery. Pressure, Warmth, Stretch, Cold, and it’s derivations. Detrainining is described as a loss of training-induced physiological adaptation. So with recovery activities along with corrective exercises we avoid this very undesired processes.
