Progress in performance can be made at any level! Any athlete ALWAYS has something to improve. Development of energy systems, getting more sports-related strength into muscles, improving speed and explosive abilities, improving skills, or recovering ideal range of motion into the body joints. These are vast areas one can work on endlessly. I always train players the way I would want to be trained. Training routine is about detecting the performance possibilities and then working on its progress, no matter the level an athlete competes at. Growing in performance is always a very complex process. It’s an after-effect of doing right things at right time. I believe in holistic program, proven methods, that develops all subsystems of the player’s body the way that makes him capable for reaching his full potential. Time-effort ratio must always be as effective as it could be. There are methods that simply work much better than the other.

Player’s body with all its subsystems must be exposed to impulses inducing its adaptation to a higher performance level. This process is an alchemy in its purest form. If a coach is capable of constantly finding new, unknown ways to challenge the athletes, then they are very likely capable of reaching their full performance potential. Only a long-term training program, build (not only) on scientific basis, respecting physiological laws of sport training, has the ability to create a complete professional player. Such a program should be precisely applied into day-to-day situations with one’s unique wisdom (experience, knowledge and intuition), because only limited knowing has found expression in science yet.
